Till date I have completed nine contracts as Chief Officer, I’m holder of Master mariner CoC (STCW) since September 2015. Although I have spent a vast majority of my career on container ships, I am determined to expand my experience and deepen my knowledge in LNG shipping. I am well aware that this career change will be a challenging step including gaining experience of cargo treatment; therefore I made steps to acquire theoretical knowledge about handling of LNG tankers: - I have passed Videotel’s SETS plus “Gas tanker operational- junior officer” with score 86.25%, "Deck management- English" with score 91%, - I’m holder of “Liquified gas tanker familiarization”, - I'm holder of “Liquid cargo & ballast handling simulator for LNG tankers (IMO model course 1.36)” training certificate -the course is essentially a practical one and consists of a series of exercises structured around the operation of the cargo and ballast installation of an LNG tanker and carried out in conjunction with a simulator. It consists familiarization with many procedures and tankers know-how handling. Anyhow I'm always ready to enhance my knowledge and to take additional academic courses if required. I believe that all mentioned above give me solid foundations and valid experience which now I would like to widen and upgrade for mutual benefit, thus I would be pleased with possibility to join LNG tanker fleet as 3rd/2nd mate/junior officer/ officer assistant.
